hyde park gym is an air conditioned neighborhood gym, with space for weightlifting, powerlifting, strongman, bodybuilding, sports performance and general fitness. We are known for our family atmosphere and diversity. An olympian working out next to a wwii vet is the norm. The gym is also known for “the arm” – the gargantuan bicep that casts a shadow over guadalupe street. Helmed by iron game legend mike graham in the 80s and 90s, hpg is a funky piece of fast-disappearing old austin. Hpg caters to folks of all fitness levels, ages, and backgrounds.
